Action:
1) Open the 'Device Manager', select the 'View devices by type' radio button, and double-click on 'Mouse' in the 'View devices by type' list box.

2) Select the mouse driver and click 'Remove'.
3) Restart Windows 95.
4) Open the 'Add New Hardware' icon.
5) Press TAB to select 'Next', and press ENTER.

6) Press the down arrow key to select 'No' radio button, press TAB to select 'Next', and press ENTER.

7) Press the down arrow key to select 'Mouse' in the 'Hardware types' list box, press TAB to select 'Next' and press ENTER.

8) Press TAB to move the cursor into the 'Manufacturers' list box, then use the vertical arrow keys to select the mouse manufacturer (such as Microsoft).

9) After selecting manufacturer, press TAB to move the cursor into the 'Models' list box and use the vertical arrows to select your mouse model.
NOTE: Microsoft mice have the model name written on the bottom of the mouse.
10) If you cannot determine the manufacturer or model of the mouse, select the standard mouse driver.
11) To install a driver from a diskette supplied by the manufacturer, press TAB to select 'Have Disk...' and press ENTER.

NOTE: In most cases, it is recommended to install a driver from a diskette supplied from the manufacturer. If you are unable to install the manufacturer's driver, install a compatible driver from the Windows 95 CD-ROM, or contact next-level support.
12) To install the driver from the Windows 95, press TAB to select 'Next', and press ENTER.
NOTE: The Windows 95 CD-ROM must be in your CD-ROM drive or you must have access to the CD-ROM through your local network. If you cannot locate a Windows 95 CD-ROM contact next-level support.
13) Press TAB to select the 'Finish' button, and press ENTER.
Click 'Finish'
14) Select 'Yes' and press ENTER to restart Windows 95.

15) Try to use the mouse now.
